Windows 11

Windows 11 is being rolled out! The question remains, “Is your system eligible for the upgrade?” Microsoft will be releasing the software in phases – the older your system is, the longer you’ll be waiting.

This will largely depend on your computer’s age, and what type of processor it uses. Microsoft said that your PC will need a special processor known as a Trusted Platform Module, or “TPM,” chip in order to run Windows 11.  This chip is required for security purposes. It will “help protect encryption keys, user credentials, and other sensitive data behind a hardware barrier so that malware and attackers can’t access or tamper with that data.”

With a new look and more fluid animations, Windows 11 is rolling out more user friendly features, including the ability to run Android apps on the desktop. However, this feature in particular will not be available right away. New features also include Snap Layouts, Snap Groups and Desktops to provide an even more powerful way to multitask and organize your windows. The ability to create separate Desktops for each part of your life and customize them –  having a Desktop for work, gaming or school. Take a peak at the new desktop-

One of the most important take-a-ways, Microsoft has added a better battery life and better security which is of the utmost importance with cyber attacks on the rise, and will only get more advanced in the years to come.
